Privacy Policy

Thrift Japan doesn't ask you to sign up and doesn't collect your name, email address or other personal details.

Your location

If you press "Find stores near me", your browser asks for permission to share your location. Your location is only used inside your browser to sort stores by distance. It is never sent to us or stored.

Map and services we use

Map images are loaded from OpenStreetMap's tile servers, which receive your IP address and the area of the map you're viewing, as with any website. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
The map software, Leaflet, is loaded from cdnjs, a public service run by Cloudflare.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like all web hosts, Cloudflare processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings, and find out more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Links to other sites

Store pages link to Google Maps and to stores' own websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
